Bed, Bath & Beyond

No, not the store. That's pretty much the content of my pictures this week...the girls in the tub or in bed and a few randoms. The past week pretty much just flew by. Nothing major happened, but it just zoomed along and before I knew it, the weekend was here. The girls did go 4-wheeling yesterday with Marshall and Papa Gary. I didn't go, so I didn't get any pictures.

I did get these, though.

Paige likes bath time, and she likes to "swim" around the tub, sticking her butt up out of the water. It's really cute :)

Who is this little girl? It's Paige with straight hair! She looks so different when I comb it out after washing it. It curls right back up, though :)

She loves to cram her head underneath the crib bumper when falling asleep.

And then once she's asleep, I find her like this :) So sweet.

I know that flash is about to go off, so I'm just going to close my eyes now.

The flash is just too bright in my dark bedroom, Mom. I'm closing at least one eye.

Reese loves this book...as you can see, she clings to it even as she sleeps! It's a building construction book of Marshall's...it must be quite interesting!

And lastly, two cute shots from Friday afternoon.

That's all for this week. See you next Sunday :)

St. Patty's Day & Spring Break

I have a lot of pictures from this week to share today! The girls were on Spring Break this week, so we were able to get in a few extra 4-wheeler rides. Marshall is super busy with work lately, so we mainly just hung around the house and worked around his schedule.

The only un-fun thing we did was on Wednesday. The girls had their final blood draw. This one was at Winter Haven Hospital because of the nature of the test. I don't know the medical specifics, but it was a lactic acid test, and the tubes in which the blood is drawn are special; they have an additive in them and they have to tested pretty quickly after the blood is taken. The girls did a great job, and the nurses did a great job. This made Reese's 3rd draw and Paige's 4th...I am SO over having them poked with needles! Marshall and I go on March 28th for all the results, as well as the chelation tests results.

Anyway, here are the pics from the week...

I can't believe this kid is still small enough for onesies! She sure doesn't look three. Maybe if she would STOP digging around in her diaper she could stop wearing them! She has NO concept of the potty...that's another saga in itself. Sigh.

St. Patty's Day 4-wheelin' & running around :)

Yesterday was also another dress-up night for Marshall and me. Last weekend it was our anniversary, and yesterday was the annual Our Children's Academy St. Paddy's Day Gala. This is our third year attending. It's a huge silent & live auction, dinner, and performances by some of the students at the school. Last year, $140,000 was raised. Marshall donated 20 hours of his design services, and one of our friends bid on it! Papa Gary also donated a week's stay at his cabins in Tennessee. It was a great night and we got to see a lot of old friends, new friends, and so many wonderful faces from OCA.

I can't believe I posed like this...yes, I am cheesy. Hey...I usually walk this earth in sweaty gym clothes & spin shoes or jeans & flip flops. It was nice to get dressed up again! I was kind of excited at the thought of a night among adults :)

Back to the girls...Reese has some really cute new St. Patty's pajamas! She liked them, even though these faces don't say it.

Yet another 4-wheeler ride...

Awwwww..... don't let her fool you. She had just finished throwing a temper-tantrum because it was time to put the 4-wheelers up. She went from Paige to RamPaige in five seconds flat!

Whew...that was a lot of pics! I'm finished for this week. Have a good one!

12 Years!

Today marks 12 years since Marshall and I were married. It has flown by, that's for sure. In May, we will have been together for 18 years. That is literally half my life! He has been the greatest gift ever (aside from our little girls), and I'm so thankful that I have him. He's such a wonderful husband and an amazing father. He works so hard, and he is always striving to make our lives better. The past few years have been the hardest, but he continues to work hard so I can stay home and be there for Reese and Paige. I don't know what I would do without him! Check out this picture of us from 1994!

I'm posting early today since he's taking me out on a hot date later ;)

Here we are before our date...my hair went flat as soon as I stepped outside in the rainy humidity. Thanks, Florida weather!

The girls have had a great week. They are off for Spring Break, so we're looking forward to sleeping in and not having to rush rush rush everywhere. We do have to take them for one last blood draw this week. This will be the last one. This one is a special one that requires a special tube...so now that everything has been ordered, we should be able to finish up this week. As soon as those results come in, we can meet with the Autism doctor again and get the results of all that other blood work, plus the metal tests that I did back in January. I hate waiting for answers!

The annual OCA St. Paddy's Day Gala & Auction is this weekend. This will be my third time attending, and my third year on the fundraising committee. Last year, $140,000 was raised for OCA! That is so awesome! There are some really great trips in the live auction this year. Marshall is donating his design services in the silent auction, and Papa Gary is donating a week at his fly fishing cabins in Tennessee again. This is such a great cause, and every penny goes to the school. I can't wait until the new buildings get started...they are bursting at the seams! So many children and just not enough space.

Anyway, here are the pictures from the week:

After school snack time...

Getting ready for St. Patrick's Day! The girls wore their shirts on Friday since the actual day is over break.

Paige has a new "chew necklace." She constantly chews on EVERYTHING, especially straps...like backpack straps. Her teacher made this for her to wear, and she has been chewing the heck out of it.

These are the smiles I get when we're just goofing off on the couch! Totally spur of the moment. I can't get these smiles when I try to get her to pose. These are my favorites of the week!

We took a quick 4-wheeler ride yesterday. Marshall wound up having to work last minute, so I didn't have a lot of time for pics. This is the "I'm so excited to run around after riding" pics :)

A few bathtime & bed time pics :)

Reese looked so peaceful last night...I had to get a picture of her.

That's it. Have a great week!
