3 Weeks Old!

Paige turned 3 weeks old yesterday! She is doing really well...still eating, sleeping and pooping like she's supposed to =) It's hard to put her down -- she's so sweet. Reese is still Reese -- doing her thing. Here are some random pictures of them both.

2 weeks old

Paige is two weeks old now...time is already zooming by! We haven't been out much, except down to Frostproof to have picnics and to take Reesie swinging. Paige had her 2-week appt. with Dr. LaRue on Thursday, and she is one ounce over her birth weight. She has also grown 1.5 inches! She peed and pooped on him while he was listening to her heart...haha. Reese did the same thing at her first visit. At least now they take their temperature underneath their arms instead of in their little hineys!

I also had my 2-week checkup. My incision is healing well, and I will go back in another four weeks. I'm able to get around a lot better -- more and more each day. I even drove my jeep today! Oh, the little things...

My Valentine Girls

Here are some pictures of Reese and Paige in their pink and red. We haven't really done much in the last week, but we did get outside for a few picnics and took Reese swinging. She's getting cabin fever all cooped up inside with us!

The pictures of Paige in the pink and brown are from last night. I wanted to do a little photo shoot of her in another outfit, so I set up the boppy and comforter to pose her. Well, Reese decided she wanted in on the action, so she jumped up on the couch. She was such a little ham now that someone else was in the picture...haha.

Paige is here!!

Well, I can't believe it's all over! Paige Kristine was born February 5 at 10:39 am. She weighed 7 lb. 12 oz. and was 19.5 inches long. When she came out, her little legs were completely spread eagle, so there was almost no way she would've been able to turn! One of the pictures of her on the scale shows her legs like this. She is such a precious little baby. She looks just like her daddy...I haven't found one thing about her that resembles me...haha! She is doing so well. She is a natural at nursing and sleeps like a champ (so far).

The c-section was NOT fun and now that I've gone through it, I defintiely wouldn't recommend it! The healing is so difficult, especially with a 2-year-old in the house. The birth was great, though...nothing unexpected. This was my first experience in an operating room, so I was pretty much terrified. The doctors and nurses were wonderful and helped me to not freak out. They really do make you get up and walk around not long after you've had the baby. That was the scariest part --trying to sit up from laying down. Ouch! But it gets easier every time I do it, and I can't wait to get back to normal!

Anyway, the pictures are what you wanted to see, so here they are!
