The Whidden Family: October update

So October is gone...and Thanksgiving is next week! Where has the time gone?! I know I'm way behind in posting pictures, so here goes...

These are all from October. I still have some pool pictures from September that I never shared here, but I'll spare you and won't post them. Now that pool time is definitely over for the season, we'll have other activities going on instead.

Here is Paige from several weeks ago playing in the fountain. I believe this was during Red Ribbon and each day was a different dress up day. This was camo day...can you tell? Haha.

We did visit the pumpkin patch by the girls' school. It went as expected...no one was really interested in the pumpkins. Reese didn't even want to go inside the little fence, so I got zero pictures of her. Paige did walk around a few minutes, but that was about it. I never know if one of them might start showing an interest in something until we try it, so this year was pretty much no different than last year. And this is why I don't get over excited about showing these kinds of pics...because they're just kind of forced. Oh well.

Afterwards we went to the park for a birthday party. My friend Jennifer's nephew was turning one, and so we went and played for a while. Now here they had fun running around and playing.

Pip, the Mulch Whisperer. She likes to grab handfuls of it and throw it....go figure.

Paige did wear a costume to school on Halloween :) After being the Hulk for two years, I decided it was time for a change. Her teacher has always called her "Sunshine," so I decided to create a sunshine costume for her. It turned out really cute, and it suited her perfectly. Of course my photos are action shots, and I had to get some pics the night before she wore it to school....because you know it wouldn't come back home in perfect condition...haha.

Reese usually doesn't handle costumes very well. This year I found this awesome and adorable Supergirl t-shirt, and it came with a cape! Perfect for her!

I have a lot more pics on my phone that I'll share next time. Here are some of my ridiculous and goofy self during Halloween week at the Y :) I went as Wonder Woman in my spin class...haha.
