Family pictures & puddles

We made our annual attempt at getting a family photo this weekend.  Every year I drag my mom over here to take our picture on our front steps.  It is quite the three-ring circus, I tell you.  Trying to get these girls to sit, pose and smile is next to impossible.  Paige just wants to squirm, get down and run around while Reese wants to get as far away from her as she can.  It's a good thing Paige is ticklish because all I had to do was goose her in the ribs and she'd at least laugh.  Reese only laughs when she's in the mood to...they're kind of like a dog & a cat.

Anyway, here are a few of the best of them.  I've given up on the "perfect" family photo.  This family is far from perfect, so an imperfect photo suits us best :)  This is the way we are on a daily basis, so our family photo should showcase that...and it does.

We spotted a gator while out on our 4-wheeler ride this afternoon.  There's a little pond out on the property, and we saw this little guy getting some sun.

It finally rained last night (thank goodness) and there were lots of puddles to be jumped into.  They were like a magnet to this girl...she headed straight for them.  Her shoes were soaked, but she had a great time :)  These are a few of the smaller ones...she eventually found the bigger ones.
