The middle of June is already here...how did that happen so fast? It just seems like someone keeps pressing the fast forward button. As my Granny Betty is always pointing out each month, Christmas will be here in almost six months! Didn't we just do that?!
Anyway, we started out this past week on a sketchy note. I sat here last Sunday, typing up how great everyone was. Little did I know that Reese would throw up in the middle of the night :( She came down with some kind of 24-hour type stomach bug. She missed the last three days of school, which I was sad about. The actual vomiting only lasted a day and a half, but it takes her that long to get her strength and appetite back. I was just looking back over the calendar, and since she started school, she had some kind of "bug" once a month! Considering she was never sick until she started school, I attribute it to other germy kids, and the fact that she likes to put her hands in her mouth. Everyone says, "Oh, they all get sick their first year..." Well, if this next year isn't better, I'm inventing a bubble for her to live in.
Other than that, she has had a restful week. Her summer camp program starts tomorrow, so hopefully she'll enjoy that. I know she'll be excited to swim at the Y during the week, since she has a blast swimming at home. Well, not exactly "swimming," but playing and splashing :)
Paige is doing well...her little personality is developing more and more each day. She is so funny and loves to make the silliest faces lately. Her hair is looking so cute and curly in the back. Marshall just commented today that it looks like a little "hairstyle."
As for us...Marshall is still working like a crazy man in the yard. It's a monster, in case you haven't seen it...haha. He now has all the irrigation on a remote control, and he's happier than a kid at Christmas! Now if we could just get the dough to sod it all... He tells me there are more "phases" of this to come, so I just nod my head and say "okay." :)
Alright, enough talk. Here are this week's pictures...
Of course, what would a weekly blog post be without pictures of Paige in her wagon?
Reese decided to ride her tricycle that is almost too small for her!
And then she took a break on the lounge chair.
Enjoying the nice evening by the pool...
More pictures of just playing on the patio.
Paige relaxing on an old pillow with her sippy cup.
Bathtime in the Ducky Tub!
Play time in the crib :) Check out those teeth!!
