One more week until the Big O-N-E!

I can't believe next Friday is Paige's 1st Birthday! I'm flabberghasted at how fast the time has flown. It has been a whirlwind year, that's for sure. This time last year I was still hoping she would flip in the womb and come in her own time. We all know that she didn't, and her birthday had to be selected for her. Everything happens for a reason, and she arrived safely and healthy. That is the most important thing to remember. She sure has been a joy!!

Here she is at Beef's in her hook-on chair...she loves it most of the time. This grin of hers makes me laugh everytime I see it!

And she loves to bite on the side...just like a little shark :)


Here she is in her highchair...she still isn't interested much in feeding herself. She will gobble up whatever I give her on a spoon, though.





She likes to get as close to the tv as possible and hold her head back...silly girl!



51 WEEKS OLD!


Reesie is still doing really well. She had an awesome week at school...everyone there just loves her to pieces. It's hard not to!

Last Tuesday was her follow-up doctor's appt. We had to wait a LONG time, so since I had the camera in my purse, we decided to play...

Another week has gone by, and of course, that means I've taken more pictures of the girls :) Good news this week -- Reese is finally better! Well, I guess I should say "right now" she is better. She is still on her antibiotic, but she's off the steroid. She is breathing perfectly now, thank goodness. I just hope it stays away for good this time. She's sleeping much better now and had a great week at school. Friday was the 100th Day of School, and her class had a party. They made "100" glasses (which I have a picture of) and a Fruit Loop necklace with 100 loops. She has had a great week, which is a relief.

Paige is 50 weeks old now...yikes. Only two more weekly pictures to go! She is eating her greens better these days. It took her a while to find a taste for them, but now she eats them without gagging...haha. While she does manage to get around the living room, she is still not officially crawling. She will move her arms forward, but instead of moving one knee at a time forward, she scoots them both up at the same time...or she will just sit up and go back down the other direction. Other than that, she is doing well.

The same old story...

Reese went back to the doctor on Tuesday...her nasal congestion continues. She's on different meds now, and if they don't work this time I don't know what we're going to do. This is getting really old. She missed three days of school this week, and her medicine is making her very moody. Sometimes I feel like it's pointless to send her to school if the only thing she's learning is how to get sick. Ugh. I didn't get many pictures of her over the past week just because she hasn't been herself.

Here she is napping in the hallway. She covered herself up with her bear coat and went right to sleep!







She somehow bonked her head somewhere...I have no idea what she did, but she has this awful bruise on her forehead.


Paige is doing well...still not crawling. I'm starting to think she never will. Of course, the books say that they should be at least pulling up to stand by now...but NO...not my baby. I guess I just have to accept the fact that I don't make normal children. But that's another soap box that I don't need to get on right now. I did get some cute pics of her this week.
