Reese's first day of school

The first day was hard...she cried and didn't want me to leave :( But since that day, she has done a great job. No more crying in the mornings, and she has been getting great reports from her teacher, Miss Meghan. There are some really cute kids in her class, and one little girl even tried to give Reese a hug the other morning. It was so cute! I really miss her during the day. It's weird not having her at home. But I know this is good for her, and I can't wait to see her learning!

Paige is exactly 29 weeks old today! I haven't taken her picture yet, so that will happen this afternoon. Here are the latest pics of my favorite girls.

Almost ready for school :)

Reese will be an official "school kid" on Monday! We met her teacher last night, Miss Megan. I really think Reese will do well after she gets over the first week hump. I'm hoping the transition goes smoothly since she was there over the summer. These last three weeks off have seemed like an eternity! I can't wait for her to start making little friends.

Paige is doing well...she has started sucking on her top lip. It's hilarious to watch her do it! She will be crawling before long...she gets around the living room just by scooting everywhere. I can't believe she is almost 28 weeks old!

Another week in the Whidden house....

Paige had her 6-month checkup last Friday. She weighs 13 lbs. 15.5 oz and is 25.5 inches. She is a little thing, but very healthy. She got a great report. Her heart, ears, and throat all looked good! I'm a very proud mama. I started giving her some rice cereal earlier this week, and she's not too sure of it. She's gotten better each time we've tried it.

Reese is doing well. I think she is bored, now that she has gotten a taste of "school." She has one more week of vacation before she starts on the 24th. All her supplies are ready...I just need to get her a few more clothes.

Paige is 6 months old!

I can't believe she is half a year old already! It seems like I just had her yesterday. We did a photo shoot today...she's wearing the same outfit Reese did in her six month pics. We got a washtub and I tried to "sort of" recreate the same pics of Reese that Sears did. They turned out cute...until Paige decided she'd had enough of the tub!
