Next Thursday, February 5, our second daughter will arrive! I saw Dr. Mancini today and everything looks great with the baby. She is still breech -- although now she's facing my back instead of facing out like she has been for over 2 months. She could still do a nose dive, which would be wonderful. They did an ultrasound and estimated that she already weighs 7 lb. 10 oz! Reese weighed 7 lb. 7 oz. and she was two days overdue, so it looks like this little girl may be our chunky monkey! So, it looks like baby girl will arrive via c-section next Thursday. I've come to terms with this and know that I'm in good hands with Dr. Mancini. His words today were, "I could do it blindfolded." Ummm...let's not try that on me...haha. Here is my latest pic at 38 weeks.

Our maternity photos
We had these made this evening. I love them!! I think they turned out really good. Reese, of course, was not interested at all in posing for the camera. I think I've ruined her forever since I always have a camera in her face...haha. We did try to get her to be in them, but she had other things to do. So here's what we got...I am so happy with them!! I'm 36 weeks and 4 days.

35 week update
Good and bad news: Everything looks great with me and the baby...her heartbeat is good and strong, and all of my vitals checked out wonderfully. I didn't gain any weight in the last two weeks! I can't believe I got through the holidays and didn't gain a pound. The bad news is that she is still breech. I don't think she is planning on moving. I go back next week for an ultrasound to see if she has flipped, and if she hasn't, I'm going on the schedule for a c-section. There is still time for her to turn, but they want to at least have me on the calendar just in case. The important thing is that she gets here safe and sound. Here is my belly picture from today:
Christmas morning pictures
Here's Reesie on Christmas morning. She slept in, so we had to pry her out of bed. (She takes after her mama...haha!) Once she saw all the stuff Santa brought her, she decided the living room was just too crowded and went back to play in her room! She didn't seem too keen on opening presents, so we had to help her. She did help her Daddy open one or two gifts, and she liked the tricycle Santa brought for her.
