Nothing new to report this week...but I have taken some new pics of the Princess! She is always in motion, so it's hard to get her to stop and smile! I took one of her sleeping in a crazy position. We never know how she's going to wind up once she's asleep! The rest are of her just being her!

Boy or Girl???

We had our 20-week ultrasound and checkup today and everything with the baby looked great! They said the baby is measuring a week smaller than my dates are showing, so they pushed my due date to February 10. I'm not worried because I know the baby will come when it's good and ready. I only gained one pound since my last visit, but I attribute that to the stomach bug I had a few weeks ago. I lost eight pounds in two days, so it took a while to gain it back. Reese went with us and enjoyed watching the baby on the screen. I guess you're really wanting to know if it's a boy or a girl, so.....


it's a GIRL! Reese will have a little sister to play with! Most people were telling me it was a boy, so I had that on my mind, but something deep down told me that I don't think I'm capable of making a boy...haha! Marshall is excited as well, and now we are trying to figure out how we're going to do the girls' rooms. We also have no idea what we're going to name her! Time to get out the baby name book again.

Our delayed beach trip

We just had a really fun beach weekend at Longboat Key! We were scheduled to go Labor Day weekend for Reesie's birthday, but we all got the stomach bug. We postponed it for this weekend, and we had a blast! Reesie was more into walking around the pool than actually getting in it, but she did enjoy splashing. She also loved walking in the sand. The ocean was a bit rough due to Hurricane Ike, but it was sunny and gorgeous almost the entire time. Here are some pictures of our weekend.

Reese will be taller than her mama...

Reese had her 2-year check up today. She weighs 26.5 pounds and is 35.5 inches tall!! According to her doctor, if you double a child's height at age 2, that will be his or her adult height. This means my Little Nugget will be between 5'9" and 5'11"!!!! WOWZERS!! I'm only 5'2"....so it looks like she'll be towering over me in no time! Here are some pictures I snapped of her on Sunday. We tried the portrait studio first, but she wanted no part of that.

My baby is now 2!!

I can't believe my little Reesie Cup is 2 years old! We had her Backyardigans birthday party on Saturday. All the family came over and gave her lots of presents and money. She wasn't too thrilled about a houseful of people, but she still had fun and got to eat some Pablo cake and ice cream!

Marshall and I decided to compare bellies...haha! I'm 18.5 weeks here.
